As alrady presented in a previous post, Capital Slam semi-finals took place last Saturday (May, 7th). A great competition with 12 intense contenders - leading to 8 finalists. Here is a small photo set for the 8 chosen ones in order to start preparing the June 10th finals (with the semi-final scores).

I also have pictures for the 4 semi-finalist-but-non-finalists. I will include them in another blog post. But I don't want the 'other four' to think I despise non-winners: the competition was close last Saturday, so congratulations to Vanessa Baker, Danielle K.L. Gregoire, Grace Defined and Bruce Morden. Pictures will come soon for you too!
I will also include some video clips of the poetry performances from the semi-finales. But this will need more editing and I'm not that used to video editing yet...Here are larger pictures of the 8 finalists... Ranks matter since the scores from the semi-finals are kept and will be be added up to scores from the finals - hence semi-finals are crucial for the title, or even being in the top 5 to make it to the Capital Slam team...
